Kunitsu-Gami is a mystical tower-defense game that leverages various defender roles to build out a robust defense.

The Thief archetype is a non-combatant that instead focuses on uncovering additional resources. At low levels it uncovers treasure chests and at higher levels can even run around collecting crystals so you don't have to do it yourself.

How to use the Thief to Dig Up Treasure Chests

Treasure chests generally come in two kinds:

• White - Containing consumables like crystals and rations
• Black - Containing rewards more useful for the overall game like talismans and musubi

Once you've found one of these buried treasure chests (usually half-buried somewhere) all you have to do is command your thief to stand over it. Once your thief is over the treasure chest it should start digging automatically.

To claim the treasure, you can then run over to the uncovered treasure chest and press the interact button (B on Xbox).
